Turkish Style Herbed Egg Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, medium
  • 2 tbsp Heraclea Chili Infused Olive Oil
  • 4 green onions, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • ¼ cup chopped dill
  • ¼ cup chopped basil
  • ¼ cup chopped mint
  • 2.5 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2.5 ounces shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2.5 ounces shredded Jarlsberg cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4-6 thick slices of sourdough bread

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and olive oil until well combined.
  2. Gently fold in the chopped herbs, followed by the three cheeses, mixing until evenly incorporated.
  3. Arrange the sourdough slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the egg and herb mixture onto each slice, spreading it to the edges.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and set.
