Aegean Sour Cocktail Recipe - Heraclea Food Co

Ingredients

  • 3 oz London dry gin
  • 1/4 oz Heraclea Rosemary Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 egg white or aquafaba (optional)
  • Honey syrup: 2 oz honey, 2 oz hot water, pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Garnish: rosemary spring

Steps

  1. Honey Syrup: In a small saucepan, heat the honey, water and cinnamon over medium heat until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. If using egg white or aquafaba, combine all ingredients (including the cooled honey syrup) to a cocktail shaker with no ice and shake until a froth has formed.
  4. Add ice to the cocktail shaker and shake until chilled.
  5. Strain into a small cocktail or coupe glass.
  6. Garnish with rosemary spring.
